Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 9, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how InfinaCode ("we", "us") collects, uses, and safeguards your information when you use our website, customer portal, and services. By using the Services, you consent to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored in hashed form) when you register.

Billing information: payment details and transaction records, processed securely by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

License and usage data: the domains where you activate a license, product versions, and update checks, used to deliver and validate your licenses.

Technical data: IP address, browser type, and log data collected automatically to operate and secure the Services.

Google Search Console data: if you use our free Google Index Checker, we access indexing data for properties you have verified, and store some of it only if you switch on daily monitoring. Section 10 sets out exactly what is accessed, what is stored, and how to delete it.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to provide and maintain the Services, process purchases and renewals, issue and validate license keys, deliver software updates, send transactional emails (such as email verification, password resets, and receipts), provide support, and improve and secure our products.

4. Legal bases

Where applicable law requires it, we process personal data on the bases of contract performance (to deliver the Services you purchase), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Services), consent (for optional communications), and legal obligation.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us operate — such as payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, hosting, and, where relevant, marketplace verification (Envato) — and only to the extent necessary. We may disclose information where required by law.

6. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account at any time.

7. Security

We use technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. You can update most account details directly in the customer portal.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the customer portal. We may use limited analytics to understand how the Services are used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

10. Google Index Checker

What it accesses: our free Google Index Checker connects to your Google Search Console account with read-only permission (the webmasters.readonly scope) plus your basic Google profile. It can read indexing data only for properties you have already verified in Search Console. It cannot change anything in your Google account or Search Console, and it cannot see properties you have not verified.

One-off checks: nothing is stored. The Google access token stays in your browser for that session only, is used to ask Google about your URLs, and is discarded when you close the tab.

Daily monitoring: if you switch it on, we store your Google account identifier, email address and name; an encrypted Google refresh token so the check can run while you are away; the property and sitemap you asked us to watch; and, for each URL, its indexing status, publication date, the date Google last crawled it, and when we last checked it.

How it is used: only to run the daily check and to email you when a page falls out of Google's index. We do not sell this data, share it with third parties, or use it for advertising. If you already have an InfinaCode account and are signed in when you connect, we record the link between the two so you do not need a second account.

Deleting it: the “Disconnect and delete my data” button in the tool revokes our access at Google and permanently deletes your account record, watched properties and stored results. You can also revoke access at any time from your Google Account permissions page. Monitoring data is kept only while monitoring is switched on.
