Content audit
One site-wide sweep for missing, duplicate and truncated titles and descriptions, thin pages, images with no alt text, and hreflang errors.
Content audit
Visibility Flux → AI Visibility → Content checks your whole site at once, rather than the page you happen to have open.
That distinction matters more than it sounds. Some problems are invisible from inside a single page: no page knows its title is shared with another page. A per-page SEO score can never report a duplicate title. A site-wide sweep can.
No API key, no AI call, no cost. Every finding is a fact about your markup.
What it checks
SEO titles
- Missing — no title set, so search engines invent one from your content
- Duplicate — two or more pages sharing the same title, which forces Google to choose between them and often suppresses one
- Too long — titles that will be truncated in results, cutting off the words you chose most carefully
- Too short — titles wasting available space
Yoast and Rank Math store titles as a template — something like %%title%% %%sep%% %%sitename%% — which is literally identical on every page. Visibility Flux reads both the raw
stored value and the resolved title a searcher actually sees, so a template does not get
reported as thousands of duplicates.
Meta descriptions
Missing, duplicate, too long and too short, on the same basis. A missing description lets Google pull an arbitrary sentence from your page; a duplicated one across a category of pages weakens all of them.
Thin content
Pages with too little text to rank or to answer a question. The threshold adapts to your language: word counts are meaningless for Japanese, Chinese, Thai and other scripts that do not put spaces between words, so those are measured in characters and converted.
Thin content is also read from your page builder. If your text lives in Elementor, Divi, Bricks, Oxygen, Beaver Builder or WPBakery, WordPress's own content field is often empty — a check that reads only that field reports every page on the site as thin. Visibility Flux reads the builder's stored data instead. See Page builders.
Images without alt text
Alt text matters for accessibility, for image search, and increasingly for assistants describing your page.
Visibility Flux checks both the rendered markup and the media library, because a builder that outputs images from its own data will not have them in post content. An image with a decorative empty alt is left alone; that is a valid choice, not an error.
Language versions (hreflang)
This section appears only if a translation plugin is active — showing hreflang advice to a single-language site would be noise. It checks each page's alternates for:
- No alternates — a translated page not declaring its siblings
- No self-reference — hreflang must include the page itself; without it the set is ignored
- No x-default — nothing declared for languages you do not cover
- Invalid code — a language tag that is not valid BCP 47
Reading the results
Each section lists the affected pages with the specific problem, and a direct edit link. Any section longer than ten rows paginates.
Work top down: titles first (highest impact per minute), then descriptions, then thin content, then alt text.
How it differs from your SEO plugin
Yoast, Rank Math and the others grade a page while you edit it, against that page alone. This is the complementary view — the whole site at once, finding the class of problem that only exists between pages. Run both.
