Getting started
Install Visibility Flux, activate your licence, add your Anthropic API key and import your first Search Console export.
Getting started
From a fresh install to your first fix takes about ten minutes, most of which is waiting for Search Console to build your export.
1. Install and activate
Upload the plugin ZIP under Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, then activate it. A Visibility Flux entry appears in the WordPress admin menu.
Until the licence is activated, the plugin's screens are locked.
2. Activate your licence
Go to Visibility Flux → Settings → Activation and paste your key.
Two credential types are accepted, and Visibility Flux recognises which one you pasted automatically — there is no mode to choose:
| Credential | Looks like |
|---|---|
| InfinaCode licence key | INF-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX |
| Envato purchase code | 12345678-1234-1234-1234-123456789012 |
Click Activate. The status badge turns green and the rest of the plugin unlocks.
Licence status is cached for six hours, so the licence server is not contacted on every page load. If you have just fixed something on your account and want the change picked up immediately, reload the Activation tab — it re-checks and re-syncs on view.
3. Add your Anthropic API key
Go to Visibility Flux → Settings → General and paste your key from console.anthropic.com.
You pay Anthropic directly for usage. Visibility Flux adds no markup and never proxies your requests through a third party.
If you run WordPress 7.0 or later, you can instead store the key once in
Settings → Connectors and every plugin on the site can use it. Visibility Flux detects a
registered anthropic connector automatically. See
Costs and API key for how to control which source wins.
4. Export your Search Console data
In Google Search Console, open Performance → Search results, set the date range you care about (three months is a good default), then click Export → Download CSV.
The download is a ZIP. You need two files from inside it:
Pages.csv— requiredQueries.csv— optional but strongly recommended
Before exporting, add Page to the Queries report as a second dimension. When the query export includes the page each query belongs to, Visibility Flux detects cannibalisation from ground truth instead of guessing from URL slugs.
5. Import the CSVs
Go to Visibility Flux → Settings → Import GSC, upload the two files and click Upload & Import.
Visibility Flux reports how many pages and queries it read, and confirms that clicks and CTR parsed correctly. Column headers are matched in any language — French, German, Spanish, Dutch, Arabic and others all work, and both comma- and semicolon-separated files are accepted.
If clicks come through as zero, your export uses column names Visibility Flux does not recognise yet. The import screen tells you exactly which headers it expected.
6. Open the Problem Map
Visibility Flux → Problem Map now shows your whole site scored and sorted worst-first. Start at the top of the CTR Crisis or Quick Wins tab and click Fix → on any row to open that page in the editor.
Read Problem Map next to understand what the numbers mean.
Re-importing later
Search Console data ages. Re-export and re-import whenever you want fresh numbers — monthly is plenty for most sites. Importing replaces the previous data and clears Visibility Flux's analysis caches automatically.
